Meet Dr. Michael Taras

Modern Dental Smiles introduces Dr. Michael Taras, has over 23 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of Florida / College of Dentistry in 2000. He is a Florida Native . He provides patients with quality care and continues to do so in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, restorative and oral surgery. He is well known for his patient satisfaction and his ability to treat all his patients' needs with compassion and care. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing in Sunny South Florida.

Meet Dr. Gary Kodish

I was born and grew up in South Florida. I graduated from Emory University in 1975 and in 1979 received his DDS Degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. I am licensed in both Florida and Georgia. I’m a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Society, I earned my Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in 1989 and am a member of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. I’m a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Implantology. I have also participated in the Atlantic and Broward Dental Research Clinics. I have completed over hundreds of continuing education hours over the years. I sold my practice in 2020 in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to travel and visit family. With my wife, Mindy, we have 5 adult kids and 8 grandchildren. Retirement was short lived and I felt I had more to give to dentistry and patients, so I went back to working a few days a week. In my spare time I love to play golf and talk to my grandkids.
